I've only skimmed the fandom so far, but here are two short ones that stood out:
Story:
No Sudden Movements (2365 words) by
WitchStuffRating: Explicit
Pairings: Rae Earl/Finn Nelson
Author's Summary: It’s a strange sort of quiet, not quite right. There’s tension between them, something that slipped in with the realization about the sharing of the bed. They’ve had sex, seen each other naked, they should be over this, but they’re not. There are still some things that need figuring out between Rae and Finn.
My opinion: Great writing style, and a Finn who is both confident in his love for Rae and insecure about everything else.
Quote: There’s absolutely nothing he can do even if he wanted to and if this is what it’s like when you let Rae Earl drive then, fuck, he’s never making another move ever again.
Story:
A Boy Brushed Red (3722 words) by
lametwentysomethingRating: Teen
Pairings: Rae Earl/Finn Nelson
Author's Summary: Written for the prompt: Rae and Finn trying to be "just mates" in Finn's POV
My opinion: This one just hurts. Finn really wants to be with Rae, but he can't. It's really quite a masochistic read. I loved it. Everything by this author is good, btw.
Quote: But then he’d missed her too much and the gang had fallen apart and nothing made sense and he’d resolved to move on, asking “Can we be friends?” But still nothing made sense and right now he could curl himself up for letting that question slip. How was he supposed to be something that he didn’t feel?
