Whenever-I-feel-like-it Something-rec: Cabin Pressure Fic
It can't reasonably be called "Weekly Sherlock rec" any longer, can it? It's still all about Benedict Cumberbatch, though.
In case you don't know Cabin Pressure: it's a bbc radio comedy about the crew of a small charter airplane. Benedict plays the captain, who is naive and a stickler for rules and pretty much bad at everything. The other characters are no less quirky and the writing is brilliant. I'd caution you against it a little bit if you suffer from embarrassment squick. But I have a touch of that, myself, and love Cabin Pressure to pieces, so it's not all that bad. The humor trumps the embarrassment. It is absolutely hilarious. You can find it on youtube: episode 1.01 .
In case you do know it, and feel like contributing to the Traveling Lemon (especially if you live somewhere starting with the letter Q, or, you know, outside of Europe), check this out: The Lemons and Landmarks Project . The deadline is June 4th.

Rating: 15, for moderate gore & some swearing
Warnings: Well, it's the zombie apocalypse. So, warning for zombies & also apocalypse.
Author's notes: Prompt was for something with the whole cast, in which Arthur saves the day. In fact, I tried to make every one of the MJN Crew exhibit an unexpected emotional or mental strength under these extreme circumstances. I tried to make this Shaun of the Dead Meets Cabin Pressure - something blackly comic rather than completely bleak. Enjoy!
My comment: It's just as funny as to be expected from Cabin Pressure. Everyone is totally in character. It's exactly the kind of fic that Cabin Pressure deserves. I somehow can't ship anyone, especially Martin is horribly clueless in canon, so hilarious team fic it is.
