Trying to get back into this fannish posting thing... ;)
* Stefan: if you want to keep Damon away from you and Elena safe from Damon, killing the fake girlfriend is not the brightest idea! Idiot.
* All the Damon/Elena scenes and discussions about Damon/Elena in other scenes felt really heavyhanded. I've seen better exposition, and their timing is weird. I blame everything on editing.
* I am very confused by Ian/Nina right now. People, you're not supposed to *live* the rpf! I don't know how to handle that.
* I really liked Klaus's failure to produce more hybrids.
* I liked the ghost story in the first episode, but the second one already dampened my excitement considerably. Oh, Jeremy, another boring season ahead for you.
* Mrs Lockwood wtf? Why on earth would you hire Caroline's father of all people to kill her? Does not compute. But if he's just as coldhearted as on heroes, there shouldn't be a problem. *G*
* I am really really starting to like Tyler. Probably because the actor said at the start of season 2 that he's going to be a bad guy. Heee, not really. And I don't really know what I like about his character, either. But that extremely dark lighting on TVD makes his hair look such an amazing deep black.
* I'm kinda relieved that Damon is still a bastard - telling Elena that he wants her to remember what she feels for him. That's just mean. Go Damon!
* When the season started, I had just read an essay that complained about how Elena was always depicted as so good when all she did was give up her own life for Stefan and Damon (and pretty much everyone else). And they were right, and it bummed me out. But I think I'm over it and can now safely enjoy the superficial gorgeousness again. :D
* I think they still need to find their footing again and lighten up on the relationship discussions and lingering shots, and things will be fine. I'm definitely looking forward to the next new episode.
p.s.: wish me luck for the last week of TVD big bang! I have about a week left.
