hiHoHiHo It's off to California I go!
As of Thursday I am gone for a wonderful time in California dancing and singing with other Goddess womyn and attending the wedding of my dearest friend Z Budapest and her darling partner Bobbie, which will take place in the redwoods south of San Francisco. It's an amazing and historic time for us. I never thought I would live to see two womyn, let alone two womyn I care about as much as those two, get married. It gives me hope and a sense of promise for the future. I am flying out and meeting my friend Deanne and some others in San Francisco and it looks like we're catching dinner with Ffiona and some others. I haven't seen Deanne or Ffiona since 2000 when they were ordained at Goddess 2000. The festival that we have labored so hard to make happen has sold out and then some. Originally we had planned on space for a maximum of 100 womyn, we got lucky and got a slightly larger space, so when 125 womyn wanted to come, we had room for them all. I am excited and nervous and happy and nervous (ok I hate flying). I am almost completely packed. I have been checking the forecasts for the area in the mountains where we are meeting every couple days and revising what I am taking, but tomorrow night it is make up my mind already time. I also have to decide what jewelry I am taking with me. That's a chore all by itself! I'll see you all when I get back.
