(no subject)
Late last year I was contacted by the list dad of Rainbow Gold Reviews to ask if I'd be interested in contributing to an new anthology. The last one, Foolish Encounters, contained my novella, Blue and Green Persuasion. This one was going to be about vampires, and the word limit was 10-15k.
Sure, I said. I'm in, I said. I started work on The Black Swan.
By the time I put 30 to it, it topped 40k. Um... just a tad over the work limit. So I told the list dad I'd write him another vampire story. I subbed this one to JMS Books, and earlier today I signed a contract. It will be released on October 15, and the paperback will be available around Halloween, which is kind of apropos.
Now I'll get back to Wishing and Hoping. :-D
