I think that in a physical sense, yes. But! But, the body has been without it so long it is possible that his body will reject it as some organs are rejected today in modern medicine. I do think, though that this begs the question "did they take out the whole brain or only half?" From what's SAID in canon it sounds like half the brain, making it more of a lobotomy on steroids. But, when they show it in the jar it's so clearly a whole brain. This makes a difference to me because I'm a believer in the fact that his body would adjust to life with half a brain and then be unsure how to cope with a whole brain and there'd be a whole 'nother mess of problems. (Can open...worms everywhere...)
If not can Glitch still access his Ambrose self through the help of a Viewer like Raw?
Yes, but it's very draining for the both of them so it's not like you can just pop by for tea.
How old is Ambrose?
He will tell people he's 30 but it's thirty-eight. People have always thought he was younger than he really is and he rather LIKES being perceived as a young and brilliant scientist, thank you very much.
Is Ambrose related to the royal family in some way?
Not biologically, but legally. He was brilliant even as a child and the lord of the land his parents were serfs on adopted him as a special case so that Ambrose could get the best education possible. (this was common in the OZ, for Lords to adopt particularly skilled serf children.) This man was a distant cousin of Queen I'm too good for a name.
Was Ambrose born into high Society? Or did his intelligence get him there?
Even adopted into wealth and royal blood it was all his intelligence that got him higher and higher positions. The royalty who adopted him was poor and distant after all and little more than a commoner himself. But he did have the lineage to allow Ambrose into such positions.
Ambrose was an Advisor……of what?
Everything Science-y. The OZ has a smaller version of the American Cabinet. There's Military, Science, and Magic branches and that's it, Ambrose was the Scientific Advisor to the Queen just as the Mystic Man was her Magic Advisor.
What is your personal fanon for him, that is not covered by these questions?
Are you kidding? Most of all of that is my personal fanon. I would like to also include that he's arrogant but in a "Oh god oh god! I have to be the bestest best ever so I can be good at something and protect my family." way. All his manners and arrogance is born of low self-esteem he's overcompensating for and this is why he pretends that he's younger than he is.
What we saw as Glitch is the real personality he would have if he weren't so nervous about being the best and living up to these weighty expectations.
Bonus Question: Do you ship Cain/Glimbrose, Queen/Ambrose, DG/Glimbrose, Azkadellia/Ambrose(Glitch) or Ambrose/Queen/Ahamo? Why? And are you open to the other ships?
DG/Glitch or DG/Ambrose either one. I think because A) I love skewed relationships in the age department. And B) I think both Glitch and Ambrose need DG, she is a balancing force. They aren't as different from each other (in my mind) as some authors paint them and I think DG would do both of them good. "Okay, you're not going to remember/figure this out today. OMG let's go exploring!" :)
Open to other ships? I tolerate them. Write whatever you like I don't care, but if you mean it in a "will I read them" sense...probably not. Cheating couples strikes a little too close to my broken home so I don't like to imagine a hawt torrid affair between the Queen and Ambrose without Ahamo knowing. I don't see Cain ever getting over Adora, not that he can't love again but I think he blames himself for her and he'll never get over the guilt of that. Does that make sense? And threesomes are NOT my cuppa. That's just me. (PS, I kinda adore the fanon that Ambrose/Glitch wouldn't know what to do with ONE person in his bed, let alone two or more.)
ETA: Html FAIL. I suck.

Ships: what about Azkadelia?

Just wait, I'll get all sorts of books on transplants and brain function and development and how those people with posts through their heads survive and have a thesis for you. :)
Hmm, Az. I dunno. I have seen good reason that she and Ambrose could get together, but that would only be in a No-Witch AU in my mind. After the witch I imagine she would be so screwed up in most mental respects there is no way that she could ever have a relationship. Well, a sexual one at least. I could see her being in an Asexual relationship with Ambrose, but I think between her guilt over what she-as-the-witch did to him, and her own problems because of the witch, there would be no way it would work out.
Although it would be interesting to see someone deal with that, like Ambrose loved her and then Glitch gets his brain (or part of it) back and remembers, no no, even better, he remembers but he doesn't actually love her as Glitch, he's just so desperate to be Ambrose again he pushes himself into the relationship. So he's hounding and trying to woo Az who feels guilty and awful and...
wow. I'm...kinda twisted and mean to them....Yeah let's go with Az and Glitch wouldn't work out but Az and Ambrose could have.

DO WANT. Erm, if you don't mind. *files away, just in case she evers gets done with Topeka and the roadtrip and the thing with Adora and the Seekrrit Project and the DG/Ambrose no-Witch-AU silly thing and the overly-cliche Cain/Glitch parody and the peacock 'verse and...*
