Tutor/Toto

Jul 01, 2009 21:34

Is Tutor his name or just his title?
Does Tutor have any family?
Is all Tutor can do shape shift, or does he have other powers/abilities as well
Was being the girls' Tutor his only job?
Is he really a man or a dog?
Any chance he’s descended from the original Dorothy’s Toto?

What is your fanon about Tutor/Toto?

character: toto, canon, fanon

I like to believe that as a society shifters have names difficult for people to pronounce and so everyone just calls him Tutor 'cause it's easier. But I was raised on Spock "You wouldn't be able to pronounce my last name."

So it's sort of like Anglicizing a foreign name.

Of course he does have family, but I'm a big believer that shifters are pack-natured, less like animals and more like Gypsies or tinkers. I think that's just because I wanted an excuse to research Tinkers and Gypsies though. I like to think, though, that he's got a huge "family group" somewhere.

I think that he can do a lot, but that's because I'm a big believer in teachers being able to DO what they TEACH. Although, I suppose if he knew things in theory only it would explain why he only stood there and told DG she was doing it wrong rather than showing her what should happen. Of course, that could just be his teaching style.

I think that he was more than just the girls' tutor but that Tutor was his only job. Just that, I'm a believer that the Royal family isn't the only group with magic. Clearly, since I believer Tutor can do magic. So I think that, like we have Secretary of War or Treasury or whatever, he's the Secretary of Magic. Only in the OZ they'd call it something cooler. I vote Grand Poobah.

He's both a man and a Dog. I would think.

I don't know about that last one. I don't even think he was the dog in the room when DG bit it, so I've never even CONSIDERED he was the proper Toto's descendant.

I vote Grand Poobah.

I second this!

Then DG would call him The Grand Pooh Bear.

Ahamo might start laughing though.
And then ask if that makes Glitch Tigger.

And then the Ambrose side of his personality would take over and be more like Rabbit.

I'm not sure what to think of Raw as.
At the beginning of the Mini he was Piglet like but he got better.

Cain on the other hand.....I compare him to Goliath from Gargoyles.

My Cain/DG shipper is happy as well.
Plus the fact that I can see DG as Elisa.
