Topic?  Gale magic!  Does DG's magic only work in the Zone, ya think?  What about Azkadellia, and all the little tricks she pulled (like shrinking Ahamo *snort*) ... do you think her magic is amplified because of the ( Read more... )

*puts on hathood and throws out questions: *

I've always pondered who's the strongest magic-wielder: DG, the Queen or Azkadellia. And Tutor get included on that list (I guess he does since he is, ahem, their tutor.)

And speaking of Tutor, is he a one trick puppy or can he multi-shift?

Canon dump!

I always figured Tutor could not actually perform much magic. Azkadellia states, "Those who can't do, teach, remember?" So I always figured that while he is a shapeshifter, he has no magic. He kind of... is magic. Like Raw, who also has no magic (the type that Az and DG can wield, anyway.)

Also, I think Tutor can only shift into a puppy. Otherwise, he could have shifted into something else during Operation Brain Room and been, ya know... useful. ;)

I assume that Az was more powerful, but after DG received her mother's creepy reverse-soulsuck, it boosted her magic. If I think any more into that, though, I start going into my personal canon, and that's a scary place. ;)

This is where meta comes to die, dear. Person canon is the Way of All. *nod*

You know, I always figured the same thing. That DG gained part of her mother's light when her mother resurrected her. Though maybe it just took all of her mother's power for the resurrection. I dunno. But I like the idea that she's stronger because of that, that's why she's more able to do stuff unlike when she was little. (I mean, she should be at the same skill level as she was in the flashbacks, she never got any training past that so it's all she'd remember!) Plus, they show with Az and DG that if they combine their power, they're stronger together.. and maybe Mom giving her power part of it combined with DG's.. my own canon :)

Which I suppose meant that Az was either stronger or just more skilled when they were little too.

This whole realm of questioning is really an outworking of my personal canon for my fics, so it's a loaded question for me, too.
