...Adora. Poor dead Adora, truly a woman of myth and legend, or something. This canon demands a lot from us when it comes to filling in gaps, especially in the case of the late Mrs. Cain.

So what do we know for sure, other than the fact that she wore ribbons in her hair and she's dead because Jeb buried her alive, thanks a LOT annehiro? How do you

I put Adora into a quasi-drabble once when I was taking drabble prompts (I don't think you're allowed to call it a drabble once it passes 900 words); she wasn't in the actual prompt that I was working on, but someone else had asked for a secondary character like Zero or Adora and I decided to combine the two prompts (I did write another drabble just about Zero later on).

Anyway, I was just going to mention her briefly (this was *supposed* to be a freakin' DRABBLE) but she kinda took over the story. Remember that scene in one of the later Lethal Weapon movies where Mel Gibbs and Renee Russo compare battle scars? Her first meeting with Cain was like that, except without the sexual overtones because they were both in elementary school.

I also mentioned that she was a brave resistance leader, because I pictured her as being something like Sarah Connor, if anyone has been watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles (ALMOST as depressing as Battlestar Galactica, but at least you get to see Summer Glau kick butt). I see Adora taking on a leadership role in the resistance after she and Jeb think that Cain has been killed, and grooming Jeb to become a leader himself after her.

As far as the other-shipping question goes, it was actually a Glitch/Cain story and I addressed that issue at the end, but it was kind of mushy and this post has gone on long enough!
