...Adora. Poor dead Adora, truly a woman of myth and legend, or something. This canon demands a lot from us when it comes to filling in gaps, especially in the case of the late Mrs. Cain.

So what do we know for sure, other than the fact that she wore ribbons in her hair and she's dead because Jeb buried her alive, thanks a LOT annehiro? How do you ( Read more... )

My Adora canon:

She's a strong woman (it's not easy being a cop's wife) and took care of Jeb while on the run. And pretty damn brave.

She was part of the Resistance. She's from Gillikin Country. Her parents were wealthy and owned a successful store in Central City. Wyatt met her while in the Academy. And she went after him.

She's very supportive of Wyatt and she's his anchor in life.

I'll probably think of more later.

I've written her still-alive once. It made me happy.

Adora is AWESOME. Adora wears the pants. Adora loves her husband. Adora loves her son. Adora doesn't take crap from anyone especially her husband. Wyatt and Adora were perfect - I claimed this in my post over at tinman_stamps - and I stand by it.

I made Adora a Tin Man as a slight joke... but I love how it's turned out. Really.

I enjoy the idea of her dad being the Mystic Man, but I also enjoy the idea of her dad looking like Robert Conrad. (WOOF!)

Whether Dad liked Wyatt or not, depends on the story, really.

Wyatt/Adora FIRST. Cain/whoever next. Backstory for Adora depends on the plot, really... but there's always Cain!angst and, occasionally, some Jeb!angst for good measure

As for Cain/DG = always later. Never right away. Okay, maybe once or twice.
Cain/Az = Yes, I've gone there. And I like it.
Cain/OC = Can't say I've gone there. CainCan't say I will, either. Damnit... I thought I kicked that
Cain/Jeb = o.O NO.
Cain/Zero = Yeah... no. Sorry, godess_jessie. I just can't see it ( ... )

I ship DG/Cain, and Cain just gets over Adora. He's convinced Adora & Jeb are dead when DG lets him out of the suit. He thinks Zero killed them. So he's been mourning for 8 years. Finding out she survived, and only died recently, doesn't change that very much. Does he still grieve? Occasionally. But to Cain, Adora's been dead a really long time.

Hehehe, good thing! After hearing his name, I remember pondering it like... "Wow, that's familiar..." but of course, not realising it until later.

I put Adora into a quasi-drabble once when I was taking drabble prompts (I don't think you're allowed to call it a drabble once it passes 900 words); she wasn't in the actual prompt that I was working on, but someone else had asked for a secondary character like Zero or Adora and I decided to combine the two prompts (I did write another drabble just about Zero later on ( ... )
