Plot Assistance Please

 Okay, I need help.  I am writing a TinMan fic for a ficathon assignment.  My problem is locations.  I want to include a believable place for DG and Cain to visit for dignitary purposes.  Problem...I don't know enough about OZ literature to find a believable place.  If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
