Images of happiness rushed into James’s mind as he walked across the laser burnt soil of his old home. Rava, the new capital of the Raven cult who called themselves the Son Children, looked slightly different then it did twenty years ago but it was still his home in his heart. Then the happiness faded.
Autumn looked at James’s as the pain replaced everything happy he could remember about his old home. The same pain that brought the tear to her eye and everyone else on the crew that had lost everything then and was here to return the pain, whether it brought comfort or not.
