“How did you drag me all the way?”
“Adrenaline, Cain.”
“Strength from adrenaline doesn’t last that long, Glitch.”
“It does when you don’t want someone to die.”
Cain pursed his lips and then sighed heavily. “I’m sorry, Glitch.”
“For what?”
“I was rude to you and I’m sorry.”
“Think nothing of it. I don’t remember anyhow.”
Cain stopped, turned and placed his hands on Glitch’s shoulders. “Yes, you do. You remembered in the palace.”
Glitch pulled Cain in for a hug.
“Glitch, what are you doing?”
“Hugging you, Cain.”
“I know that. But why?”
“Because you need it.”
Cain smiled.

Wyatt furrowed his brows as he gazed at Garrett. “So…?”
“So…you doin’ the body-bumpin-yippie-yi-yo yet?”
Wyatt regarded his brother with confusion. “The what?”
“You know,” Garrett elbowed Wyatt, “have you gone all the way?”
“I come home from the Academy and you ask me about my sex life?”
“Yeah, well, have ya?”
Wyatt shook his head.
“Ha! You have!” Garrett grabbed Wyatt by his shirt. “Do you love her?” His tone suddenly changed.
“I wouldn’t have brought her here and subjected her to meeting you if I didn’t.”
Garrett smiled and patted Wyatt on his shoulder.
“Welcome home, brother.”
