"Mmmmmm," said Glitch.

Cain beamed. "You liked that?"

"I think all of my bones have melted back into cartilage." Glitch snuggled closer with a satisfied sigh.

"Don't fall asleep, now. There's more where that came from."

Glitch opened one eye. "More?"

"Is that so hard to believe?"

"Cain, you're forty if you're a day. As am I. At least, I think I am. We can't possibly keep this up indefinitely."

Cain rolled over, pinning Glitch underneath, and kissed him thoroughly. When they both finally surfaced for air, Cain said with a grin, "Wanna bet, sweetheart?"

Glitch smiled back. "We'll see."
