Challenge: 26 BOREDOM
Normally, the town wouldn't be called "boring", but even the residents considered it fairly boring.
Anyone passing through the small community might think that a prominent resident had died, judging by the way everyone was acting. News that a twister had touched down weeks before might explain the slight edge, but still wouldn’t quite be the cause for the lull.
Even at the county's busiest establishment, folks came in and chatted, but the ruckus crowd that once kept the place lively just wasn't there.
Turned out, a rebel waitress was the life of the party, whether she knew it or not.
