I was cleaning my closet at Mom's last night. I found a lot of cards from my Dad. In every birthday card he used to write something like, "Did you know the day you were born was the happiest day of my life?"

I used to hate when he wrote that. I remember one year he didn't so he wouldn't embarass me, and deep down I was sort of dissapointed.

Will it ever stop hurting?
