Sitting here reading different LJs, I have discovered that I am a great procrastinator. 10:30, and I could be doing something else like my biology homework, more research for the upcoming 25-35 minute speech, etc. But who wants to? School is horrible, especially the last few weeks. Oh well, soon it will all be over and I will be making money - YAY! Anyway, to update anyone who cares, big test on Thursday, then two tests Monday, the aforementioned speech in Thursday, then Dead Week (and an impromptu speech) and finals. Different things going on in Sigma Alpha - final questions and down 'n dirty.
On a different note, a boy from LSU was killed on Nicholson on Friday. It's really scary - I see people cross the street there all the time, and the driver was not even speeding or drunk; he even had the right of way. Tonight everyone was going to the funeral. I didn't know the guy, but I prayed for his family and friends...it's always hard to lose someone special to you. From what I read, he seemed like a nice guy. Anyway, remember him and his family when you get a chance.....
Things like this happen all the time, but it makes you think when it is this close to home. I guess it shows that you should have no regrets. Sorry to quote all the cliches, but suddenly "live everyday to the fullest" doesn't sound quite as cheesy as it usually does.....
