(no subject)
sorry its been like 2 weeks...
so, we opened on wednesday to a sold out show, which was very nice. the reviews loved the set, and Beth got me my very own paint monkey, which i absolutely adore. They also made an announcement that we're going to have a showcase/ benifit in january- like a gallery of theatre.. with things like set pieces, that painting i did, some actor stuff etc. could prove to be interesting, but this means i have to update my portfolio before D-Day.. ugh. that thing eats my soul.
in other news, loomie is visiting this weekend, which is nice-and in even bigger news, Mike invited me to go to WestChester for new years. why you ask? Because mike is friends with the band HIM, as in Bam's (al la viva la bam) band. and Bam invited mike and me and some of his friends to go. not only do i get to meet a cool ass band, go on a basically expense free trip (bam is paying for the plane tickets, and everything) hang out with bam, BUT, if any part of this adventure shows up on his show, which involves me speaking, as in not just one of the crowd, i get 5,000 dollars. damn. crazy crazy things.
so, until, i need to finish my paint overhaul now that i have some time, continue the job search, get the car fixed, and go to class.
i registered for classes next term, which is going to involve some obnoxious loan crap, but, you gotta do what ya gotta do. i'll be taking an ethics class, into to theatre (HA), interpersonal communications, production design with tommy (presuming registrars gets their butts in gear) and a math class that actually counts towards the core. should be interesting. depending on how my metting with arlene (registras gu-ru) goes, i might take only 4 instead of 5, and push the other onto next year, to go with my health class, and some other requirementy i'm forgetting. we'll see. the life of a transfer student is never certain. but, thats all for now. bai!
