New Happenings!!
Wow! Where has September gone? I can't believe the end of the month is right around the corner.
I know it has been awhile since I updated. There may actually be some excitement in my life in the near future.
I don't know if anyone remembers (or cares...lol) that I signed up under my aunt in Quixtar about a year and a half ago. Well, the first part of August, the leaders of the team I was on got booted from the company! Things have been in a whilrwind since then. They're trying to keep the team together outside of Q, but Q is trying to tell all of us "peons" that they own our downlines AND that we can't do join a competing MLM for 6 months if we quit the company. It's a bunch of bullshit...they're all in court over it. Anyway, Team has turned into a leadership development support program for now. I'm sure they're going to do something nifty in the future. In fact, I'm going to go to the convention that's coming up in Louisville in mid-October. My plane ticket is non-refundable so I may as well see what they're up to.
In the meantime, I've found another network business to get started. So let me step up on my soapbox for a moment...

I'm going become a Cookie Lee jewelry consultant pretty soon. Last weekend, I picked up a copy of Empowering Women magazine and the company was featured in it. Wendy, the woman who will be my sponsor, came over yesterday and we talked for a good long while about it. I'm pumped but practically broke because Doug hasn't paid child support since the first of August (that's another rant of it's own). So here's my idea...I'm going to do a fundraiser/catalog party to earn some of the money I need so I can get started sooner rather than later.
Here's the catalog...
It's costume jewelry, and really reasonably priced (unlike all the Quixtar crap). Wendy brought a bunch of things over for me to play with yesterday and I totally dig it. If you happen to find something you love, let me know and we'll figure out how to do the whole payment thing. You'll do it if you love me! ;-) And because I love you guys, how about a 25% discount from the retail price? Yes, I'm practically begging. It sucks not having many local friends and an idiot/asshole for an ex.
