Julie's wedding was so gorgeous! She was such a beautiful bride. I hope she posts a picture of her in her dress because she looked like a princess. I sat next to a table of the groom's relatives and the older ladies kept talking about how wonderful she looked while the couple danced (really Julie, they were).
The ceremony was outside which was a little chilly but it didn't last too long. It was really nice because they had family members playing guitar and singing. so personal. what a nice touch.
The food and the music were amazing.
It brought back memories of my own wedding. Not in a way that you might think. It is because, like after my wedding, we had another run in with the police. After my wedding, we were stopped on suspicion of DUI. I was driving and I wasn't drinking and the cop could clearly tell that because he didn't have me do any field sobriety tests or anything. I think he just stopped us at random because it was a holiday weekend and it was 1 AM. This time, we had our run in the morning after Julie's wedding. We were geocaching (see www.geocaching.com if you don't know what this is). We were at a rest stop along Rt. 95 in Massachusetts and some concerned citizen thought that my husband was kidnapping me so they called our descriptions into the police which showed up with their lights and sirens on. The guy got out of the car with his billy club in his hand, which i have never in my life seen a cop do. He yelled at me to take my hands out of my pockets and to come over to him. It took a few minutes to figure things out but once he realized that i was not a victim and the "assailant" was my husband, things relaxed a bit. But he didn't get what we were doing because he'd never heard of geocaching. I had geocaching forms with me which i showed him and luckily his buddy showed up a few minutes later and that guy had heard of it so they left us go. Never a dull moment.
