2 good things
Well, i'm proud to say that i am working on my last, yes that is LAST major paper. I have a paper for my LAST class due on the 6th. It is supposed to be written about a terrorist group, like Al Queda or the Taliban. I chose the European settlers and I'm writing about how they were to the Native Americans when they colonized. It's turning out to be pretty good. The sucky thing is that the prof would not give us any remote idea on the preferred paper length. could be 4 pages. could be 24. oh well. i guess he gets what he gets.
The other good news is that i just got promoted. I went out for this job and totally never remotely thought i would get it. I was going up against someone incredible who has been with the Agency twice as long as I have. I've been there 3 years by the way. ANyway, the promotion is to run the foster care program for the county. I'll be supervising about 40 foster homes, among other things. Lots of paperwork. But most importantly, i'll be part of the administration or the management of my Agency which is a very small, select group. I'm so excited. this promotion also comes with a raise, albeit a small one. so yay for me.
