Just Life
Has it really been a couple of weeks since I last journaled?! Wow. It feels like there has been lots going on that I’ve wanted to share…guess I just haven’t had time to share it. Nothing majorly life-altering or anything, just some stuff.
So, to update…
We got the window fixed on our van. Not surprisingly, there has been no news from the police about catching the perp. We have been parking either in the garage or on the far side of our driveway, hidden by the house.
A few of my coworkers and I have been having way more fun at work that should be permitted. We have instituted a daily clips email…each of the four of us sends out a clip we have found worthy of sharing. It can be stupid funny, serious, musical…whatever. It’s amazing that we get as much work done as we do!
Max (our pom/yorkie) celebrated his 7th birthday. Breaking with tradition, we had birthday pie instead of cake. He requested it…who was I to say no?!
Hubby and I switched to alltel and got new cell phones (the kind with slide out keyboards) and an unlimited texting plan. Our bill will be more than $100 a month, but hubby had a bad habit of going over in minutes and messages with his former carrier (the unbelievably craptastic Sprint), so this plan actually works out cheaper.
I’ve been trying to catch up on my reading. I plan to read at least 50 books this year and I’m a little behind. I should be on book 16 by now and I’m only on number 13. Not too bad, but I’m hoping to get where I should be by the end of this month. I’ve really been in a vampirey mood and luckily I have a good supply at the moment (thanks in no small part to GG).
That’s not all that has been going on, but it’s all I can share at the moment. (No, I’m not trying to be cryptic…other stuff that has kept me busy is just uber-personal.)
