And so this is Christmas

Christmas was good this year. It was pretty quiet because we didn't travel and didn't have anyone over... it was just me, hubby and the dogs. Apparently it's not so bad being on the naughty list because I got some great presents...lol!

The one thing I really wanted was a purple iPod (not that I was leaving hints for the past few months or anything) and hubby made sure that was under the tree, along with a clock radio/iPod dock, silicone covers and an iTunes gift card. As usual, my parents sent us clothes (I got a nice sweater and hubby got two sweeeet shirts... Blue Jays with the retro logo and a Toronto FC Dichio shirt) and we got some Laura Secord chocolates (some of the best in Canada). Hubby's parents both sent us gps systems... they really need to discuss the gifts they're sending! But it's cool because we can have one for the Falcon and keep one in reserve for travel. And his sister sent us the usual box of Nike goodies... one of these years she's going to remember my correct shoe size! (Anyone take a women's 10 and want a brand new pair of white, pink & black Nikes?) What did I get hubby? Well he's been bugging about satellite radio for about the past six months so I got him a Sirius receiver and car kit (we bought the home kit at Best Buy afterwards). And I got him a few cool tshirts from Think Geek and Threadless... I swear it was the Christmas of shirts for him this year! (BTW, if you follow me on facebook, I've got a few pics up there.)

After the presents was the obligatory watching of the Disney Christmas parade (which I NEVER miss). And we spent the rest of the day watching dvds. I cooked a ham for dinner, which was a first because I usually do turkey and I'm not kean on ham, but I made the offer of ham and hubby accepted. Turned out rather well, actually. Dessert was pecan pie, though my mom did supply us with a Christmas pudding which we might end up having on New Years.

So that was our Christmas. How was yours?

christmas, home
