An Ode to My Element

Today, I had to drive five hours for business... in a rental car.  Last night, on my way to WalMart to get last minute supplies, a seventeen year-old girl ran a red light in an SUV, T-boned a compact car at 50 mph, and my poor Element was a casualty.  Luckily, it is fixable but is out of commission.

Unfortunately, I needed to leave today for the aforementioned business which will keep me out of town until Friday evening.  Thus, the rental car.

I miss my Element.  I miss the big comfy seats.  I miss the height.  I miss the ability to block sun the whole width of my windshield with my visor.  And I miss the confidence of knowing how long it will take to brake, how sharply I can take a turn, and my "booster" button for get-up-and-go.

Whatever will I do when my Element is gone for good?
