My wonderful scarf
We were at the LCBO (liquor store) this evening, when a woman stopped me to ask about my scarf (knit for me by Martha as a Christmas present). She was asking me where I had got it (who had made it, really) when she saw Martha, wearing her own (different) hand-knit scarf. This lady was able to name both scarf patterns on sight, as well as the knitting website (ravelry) to which Martha belongs.
Knitters are a scary bunch...
