So it appears that, in the States, the National Federation of the Blind is protesting Don McKellar's new movie, Blindness. Whatever.
But in Canada, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) is not nearly as riled up about it.
The following is a direct quote from today's
Globe and Mail:
"CNIB is not planning any protest around the movie, Blindness," CNIB spokesperson Cathy Moore said yesterday. "In fact, we haven't even seen the film."
Comedy gold, folks.
In other news, I've almost caught up on my flist after a week's absence in NYC - real updates to come, I promise!
