Dental Surgery Question

Oct 26, 2007 12:06

Hi everyone,

As people may or may not know, Martha had her wisdom teeth extracted yesterday. Now, in addition to the pain that might be expecting, the corners of her lips are really hurting, due (we assume) to her mouth having been kept open during the surgery. Martha says that they feel like they're trying to heal and in the process sealing up the corners of her mouth - thereby making an already unpleasant situation slightly worse.

My question for you all, then, is: have you experienced something like this before? What's the best way to deal with it?

Many thanks in advance.
