Kids kick the shit
I love being an Aunt.
I babysat (along with Vecsar) my two nieces and one of my nephews. Sarah 7, Emma 4, Jacob 1 1/2.
They're so darn cute. Quite a handful sometimes, but it's all well worth it. After playing clue (the kids version), doing a scooby puzzle, watering the garden, running around outside playing hide and seek, playing fetch with one of the dogs and giving lap bike rides....it was time to go in to color ;)
What did we color you might ask ?
Carebears coloring books of course, oh you KNOW it!
Then we watched full house. It's sad how many times I've seen those episodes. I used to watch it all the time when I was little (along with tiny toon adventures, golden girls, animaniacs...you know, the classics =), hell I still watch it now. So I was singing along with the theme song and they all start dancing. Then Emma goes, "Aunt Wendy, I like your music".
I mean, how adorable is that.
Later on Emma had a bad dream and came out into the living room crying so I went and snuggled with her for a bit.
Emma also has a cold and I think I got it.
I mowed a bunch today so now I'm all covered in grass. Damn I need to shower. Maybe that'll help my sore throat, a nice relaxing hot shower. lol
Anywho, I'm off.
