so tonight was the dinner celebration at el toro's in honor of jason and gwen's birthday. gwen's real birthday is on sunday. i gave her her gift tonight tho. i got her a jean jacket and got some pins from hot topic to accesorize it. she liked it, which is good.

i like bush because he consults God and is a man of faith. i like where he stands on the issues. i like bush because he doesn't back down from what he says or does. i don't like kerry because he is not a man of faith from what i understand. i don't like kerry because i don't understand where he really stands on things. i also fear if he gets elected that we will not be as safe as we are right now as a country.
i don't disagree with the war on iraq either. :/ sooooo i dunno.
my dad says he is voting for kerry. i'm not really sure i care 'cause i'm not out there to tell people who to vote for really, i am just basically prayinga bout it at this point that God will put who He wants in office... eventually we will have to get a bad leader though because that's just what the Bible says will happen... so who knows.

c'mon...you know this is the reason why i keep my faith close to me, because when people know that you are a CHRISTIAN they put you under the label as being an oh-so-perfect, hollier than thou, down right snobby person. and dude you definitely proved it. it worries me to think you are showing His love.

i don't want to argue, i just didn't see how i was being that way. if i was, i'm sorry... i just didn't like how he compared bush praying or connecting with God to bush snorting crack. i kind of get defensive when my God is compared to crack...

i don't think if one cannot understand another's faith it is wrong... however, i don't believe that a relationship with the Lord is solely between him and God because God calls us to go out and to love other people so it's going to affect how we relate to each other as human beings. plus He created the church for us to have very important fellowship. so i don't think it's ever solely between him and God unless he is isolated from all other people. but you are right, nobody has any right to judge their relationship, although Christ calls us to be judgemental of who we listen to as far as our beliefs are concerned:

that verse can be used also toward bush.

my relationship is very much between me and Him and no one else. it is personal and intimate. the God calling is witnessing. anyone can witness. but the relationship is between you and him. no thing can come between it. one witness's how God's love impacts them and how their relationship is.
