so today i got to talking to my cousin who is a practicing shiite muslim. i am a religion freak and love learning about faiths and such. thing i learned: there are many sectors of muslim, besides shiite and sunni like in christianity. she says she adopted the religion due to her husband mostly but also how it is such a peaceful faith. she has taken a few trips to bangladesh and india and the people welcomed her with open arms.
the conversation made me so adamant of my decision to teach over seas.
