so tonight i had my philosophy class and i got in a bit of a debate. the topic was in a sense about the existence of God and how "His people" work. it began with this kid telling of his personal bel;ief that he does not believe and how organized religion didn't convince him otherwise.
damn you religious folk!
it just pains me how people get an idea of God and when it doesen't work ot they just flush Him down the toilet. dude, you gotta realise God is huge and everywher and is perfect. we, as humans, can not describe Him because we can not fathom His greatness.
having a relationship with God needs to be personal and kept close to your heart. it is special and something to treasure.
when i got back from PBA, i had a very bad taste in my mouth because i saw how supposed christians acted. i began to despise it. but then i thought about it and realised i didn't know much about it, only what they, at PBA, taught me. so i researched it and took some classes about how christianity began and how it evolved. it definitely opened my eyes and has seriously strengthend my faith and understanding in Him.
