Just because it's fun and easy.. doesn't mean you should and it's right
So, Saturday night was Amanda's birthday party. After taking care of my profusely bleeding nose, I headed off to the shower. I had worked until 3am the night before and basically slept all day, and was lazy. I guess Amanda showed up to pick me up while I was in the shower, but since I didn't answer the door she left. It was okay though, I texted her, and after giving me about another hour to finish getting ready, her and Kayla P. came and picked me up.
We went to Kayla's house so Amanda and Kayla could get ready and to predrink before the bar. We all looked pretty flipping hot. And I will say I was starting to get a little tipsy. One of their friends came and picked us up and brought us to Heat. We met up with a bunch of people there. It was alright, we got straight in. Not let me say, it wasn't the ideal bar for me to go to, and I probably wouldn't go back, but for a friend's 19th birthday.. whatever. The group of people we met up with eventually ditched, leaving us back at what we started.. me, Amanda, Kayla, and there friend Steve. I got really dizzy at one point and instead of ruining Amanda's birthday, I went and sat by the bathrooms, and ended up texting Andrew for awhile. After the bar, we went to The Pita Pit before Kayla's younger brother picked us up.
When I got home, I went on msn for a bit to talk to some friends. That only lasted for a little while since I had to run off and attend to some things in the bathroom. :S I went to bed shortly after this, as I needed to try to get up at a decent hour in order to go to Ribfest with Melissa. My bed was very lonely however.. Sammy was over at his cousins.
So, about waking up early..lol.. I got up around 2. I showered, as the night before I had decided to go to Melissa's for four. Turns out I wouldn't go until closer to 5:30, so I was just lazy for a bit. Ribfest was decent. I enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich, ice tea corn, and twisty ice cream cone. LOL. I even bought Sammy a shirt. I couldn't resist it. It had a little bride and groom on it, and said GAME OVER underneath. It's perfect since he is such a video game nerd. Plus if he won't wear it, I will.. it's cute. :)
So, Monday was an adventure. I ventured back into Oshawa. I needed to pick some things up from the mall. Then I lazied around the house, and went off to work to work close.
Tuesday, i worked 11-7. The day went by pretty decently, as I was pumped for my hang outs with Andrew. So, after work, I had about an hour before my bus. I decided to go buy some more candy for Josh and Andrew's treat bags. I decided it was finally time to bring them, since I have been promising them forever. Then I was off to catch my bus, and walk a half hour to their house. Mel texted me a few times, as I told her I would hang out if Andrew never got back to me. She invited me for a few drinks with her and Jen. I declined, I had forgotten jeans, and only had pink penguin pj pants with me. (Not really pub appropriate) So, I decided just to stay in and play Trauma Centre with Andrew. We "NEED" to beat it. LOL. It's fun being doctors. Josh decided to go out with Melissa, but not before inviting me and Andrew again. And again, I declined.. the whole pant situation... and well I did just walk a half hour to get there, and didn't want to walk a half hour back again.
I guess Josh decided to stay out, as he never came home. Damn! I wish I would have known, then instead of sleeping on the couch I would have stolen his bed. :P Oh well, the couch was fine. (Yeah I stayed over again.. it is such a far walk alone in the dark..lol) Josh came home early, as he had to work. But we decided this situation was not awkward at all. Thank god, I was on my last chance with the awkwardness.. I sat with him a bit while he ate before work. After he left, I attempted to fall back asleep, but kept being awoken by Andrew's alarm going off. And since I knew he had to eventually get up for work, I went told him to get up. We talked for a bit, as he got ready for work. Then he offered me his bed again, saying I could stay until he got home from again. He was once again only going to be a few hours. Hmmm, I decided this was a good plan, as I was still too lazy to walk all the way to the bus stop. So, he left and I went to bed.
OH, and this time I brought my own stuffie in case I had decided to stay. But I decided that Andrew's Winnie the Pooh pillow makes a really good cuddling item. And if nothing else is available, I will take that in a heart beat.
So, i spent all day hanging out with Andrew. We sharpened our doctor skills. We make an awesome team. Josh was a little surprised to see me when he came home from work.. maybe because when he had left my intentions were to go home. Ah well, it wasn't an awkward moment.. just a surprise.
I finally left around 7. I needed to get home to bake some cuppycakes for work tomorrow. Baking is always sooo fun. But yeah, that has pretty much been my last couple of days. Fun times for sure.
Tomorrow is Thursday.. and I am really planning for it not to turn into a Friday laziness again, but who knows what adventure it will hold. Well, I do know for sure I am going out with Amanda again, as she is really enjoying the "i just turned 19" phase of her life.
I think I am going to make a conscious effort to blog more.
