Lesson learned...be more impulsive.
I was getting sold on doing another silly short trip to SF for Halloween, but in the last hour, while thinking it over to make sure I hadn't forgotten something the prices doubled. (I think the clock rolling over to midnight, making it travel with in 7 days did it.)
Less thinking, more doing.
Though I feel like I've learned this lesson before. Hrm...
