Back from Texas
So, we left around 11 am on the 24th. We were gonna try to leave earlier but it just didn't play out that way. Trevor did well on the ride up there. I used my battery pack for my pump and pumped every so often so we didn't have to stop every time he needed to eat. we got there around 10:30 pm and C dropped me at the hotel and went and dropped off the presents at Erins.
we got up before the boys did christmas morning and got to erins right before they came downstairs. they were very excited to see C. they opened presents (ill post pics on myspace later) and had a blast doing it. ben was scared of his godzilla at first but by the end of the trip he was over it and playing with it.
I jsut sort of hung out and talked to them a bit and took pics. I wanted to let them get used to me on their own time. caleb was excited to see the baby. every day when we would be back over there he'd say "You're back!" and "Cool Baby!" They loved giving T kisses on his head. by the 2nd or 3rd day there they were comfortable enough with me to give me hugs and such.
They are really awesome kids. Very smart and also pretty fun to be around. Ben was teething so he was a little grump for a lot of the trip but it's ok. I understand that he was hurting. I still saw the sweetness under the grump. lol.
the days flew by too fast. It would've been nice to be able to stay until yesterday but we didn't have the funds for that. The only way I got to go at all was because mom and dad paid for the hotel. Thanks mom! Thanks dad! it was a great trip and I can't wait to go back!
On New years eve, erin and i decided we wanted to hang out together, so she took me to dave and busters. it was very fun. I am glad I finally got to meet everyone. I think things are off to a great start!
The ride back was ok. T was very tired of being in his car seat by the time we got back. Hell we were all tired of the car. I still haven't really unpacked anything. I need to get on that.
