As I said in my last post I've been looking into the website; www.sparkpeople.com Even though it is blocked I'm still trying to use the resources I can while at home. But I have decided that I need to boost the program up a notch and make myself more accountable. The more people that know about what i'm trying to do the more likely i am to actually follow thru. My ultimate goal is to lose 40 lbs more. Right now i've already lost a little over 20lbs. So i'm off too a good start but I keep getting to where i am now and then start rewarding myself to where i lose track of where i need to go from here.
One thing I've been doing pretty regularly is either walking to work, or doing the Nordatrak before or after work. But I've been reading on top of that kind of exercising you should also do some sort of strength training. My dad has won SEVERAL trophies from lifting weights, and if as a girl you lift light weights you will mostly tone versus bulking up. So I'm going to have my dad set me up a work out plan that i can stick to and hopefully do before work when i have time. After I work this schedule out with him i'm going to post it on here and hopefully keep this updated on how well i'm sticking to it.
Also a girl i work with occasionally, is on a volleyball team and I was thinking of joining one too. That would be a good thing to get involved with right now since i don't have kids yet and i have a pretty flexible schedule. It's been so long since i've played, i would love to get back on a team again!
