Oh, nostalgia...
Last night I went to the Styx, REO Speedwagon, and Def Leppard concert with my three older sisters. I'm 36 and they are 41, 42, and 43. It was a great trip down memory lane and I made the following observations...
1. To the 80's ladies out there: Just because you CAN still wear it, doesn't mean you SHOULD still wear it.
2. No matter what concert we go to, the most obnoxious, drunk girl/woman will sit next to my oldest sister and ruin her night.
3. My sisters and I have aged quite well after what we witnessed last night.
4. I love Def Leppard just as much now as I did back in the 80's, but Joe Elliott just doesn't do it for me like he used to. He, unlike Joe Perry of Aerosmith, has not discovered the fountain of youth. Paunchy...but he can still rock.
5. Styx did NOT perform "Mr. Roboto"...WHAT????
