Trip down memory lane...
I got up this morning and purchased concert tickets for myself and my three sisters. The show? Def Leppard, Styx, and REO Speedwagon! And the concert is on my sister Cathy's 41st birthday. I'm so excited!!! I have always been a "rocker chick" from a very young age. While other girls my age were all into Duran Duran, I only had love for my two "Joes", Joe Elliott of Def Leppard and Joe Perry from Aerosmith. My oldest sister, Carrie, expressed concern for what kind of crowd would be at this show. I don't think she understands that it will mostly be old people like us.
In other news, I'm getting a new car on Monday. I bought a Ford Focus SES. It's fully loaded with sunroof, remote starter, Sirius radio, and it's got that cool Sync feature that you can tell your car to play anything on your iPod or to call people on your phone. Oh technology... And the best thing? I will be saving at least $100 every month with the lower car payment and not driving such a gas guzzler.
