(no subject)
So I guess someone could say this has been a busy week for me. I went apartment looking one more time with one of my friends, found one I wanted and when I called back on it on Friday to sign the lease, I learned someone already had. So on Saturday my parents and I went looking again and found for only about twenty dollars more per month, a really nice one bedroom apartment on the corner of Jefferson and Battlefield. I signed the lease for it saturday and got approved without a co-signer (which is nice).
The whole 'move-in-day' is the 19the of July. Kinda close considering I dont have anything packed yet. I should better get on that.
I dont know whether to feel brave or stupid making such gigantic changes as I have lately. I guess I'll find out soon enough. I have a couple friends left to call that I neglected while I was in a relationship with Eric. A few of my girlfriends and my one of my best friends from back home the last couple years I was there. One thing came between me and him my last summer there and the friendship never really got over it, and I think it can now. I never realized I missed so many people.
Im coming back to the KC area on friday and saturday - my two days off this week. Plans are to run around with Chad and Coley as much as possible and see some of my old friends.
I worked 10 hours yesterday (8 at the Customer Service desk managing and 2 as a late-nite cashier.) Both of the late night cashiers werent there. One called in sick and the other came in smelling like some fucking brewery and began being a total cussing ass to the baggers. It was her second day and she's on suspension already. Bob's going to totally can her ass... Then we're without another cashier again. Im hoping I dont have to pull another day like that though. My feet were tingling when I woke up. I dont know if it was from the tendinitis or from the tylenol PM i took last night, but im sure whatever it was it wasnt good so until I actually go to work Im going to be sitting down.
