Me: "...Well, I have been feeling terribly neglected, you know."
Alex: "Well, then don't go breaking stuff and getting stuck at your parents' house."
Me: "Oh, I was feeling neglected even before I broke my leg."
Alex: "And yet you managed to fill your time by jumping out of windows."
Me: "Did it ever occur to you that maybe I jumped out of that window to get your attention?"
Alex: "Nah. You're not that subtle."
