And hey, you're still here! Great to see you checking into LJ every now and then. I love reading your updates, and I'm sorry I've been such a piss-poor commenter. I've been plowing through days' worth of updates whenever I had the chance, trying to catch up. I'm sure you know the feeling.

I would have KILLED to be in that line. Ok, so maybe kill is a bit much, but I would have at LEAST punched an old lady in the kidneys. =)

Well, that carries a certain satisfaction in itself. ;)

I would have loved for you to be there. I so wanted to share it with someone. I even ran in and told my colleague, but the moment was sort of broken when I had to remind her who he is.

I know!

I would've jumped him, or said 'hi' or 'boungiorno' or whatever if it wasn't because I looked like absolute shite and probably smelled like it too.. One should be nice to tourists, one should. ;) But I'd been sweating like a man in that kitchen, I had a fine selection of god only knows what spilled down my shirt, I'd nixed makeup that morning because I knew it would melt anyway and my hair... well, my hair was kind of cute in that curly messy way it does. I guess he really missed out.
