-glomps- So, yeah, not gonna repeat meself from the other reply, just, expressing affection xD

You're the second person to like Lancelot's role in this story. It may or may not be giving me ideas that involve crack and sassy gay friends xD

Errrrr, well, the title is actually the exact title of the song, and the numbers are just a date, December 21st, first day of winter. In my head canon it's the day when this happens (winter coming, cold, all that poetic crap), but it's not really important, you can totally work with the numbers being completely meaningless xD And prelude because, well, leads to most important events of the series and all. If I'd gone with the original idea of all of this being just one story, this would've been the prologue.

Omg, I talk too much xD

Right, so, thank you for another wonderful comment! :D

Ugh, don't even get me started on how much of a fucking bitch livejournal is to me. I hate it, I swear to god, I hate its guts. Obviously, I don't write in the actual post of LJ, I write in a text processing program, and I paste here. Now, since most of the things I write are longish (at least) and I can't memorize exactly where I put italics or anything else, I paste into rich text so I wouldn't have to HTML format it by hand (although I know how, it's a pain in the ass). For some god forsaken reason, LJ takes that as cue to screw me in the head. When I tried posting Paper Airplanes, my laptop crashed TWICE. When I was trying to post the first 5/1, my laptop crashed 4 times, and my browser 3 times on top of that. If I just paste the text as is, it doesn't have ANY spacing, so I add line breaks by hand anyway. And I first have to erase original line breaks because if I just add one more, LJ totally ignores it when I go to edit an entry. It also has this unnerving tendency to make different spacings throughout one and the same post. It ( ... )

That's alright, talk/rant away :)

I personally only post short things and use HTML (for which I also have to preview and edit several times before it looks the way I want it to), so I haven't had problems with formatting. But, yeah, LJ can be extremely uncooperative.

AO3 is good, only I don't like commenting there. I much prefer LJ for this, where interaction is easier.

It looks easier to read now, btw.

I used to post on this one website, where you actually uploaded an HTML document (which worked just fine for me), and then I wrote this massive fic of 35k words without splitting it to chapters and couldn't upload it because it was too huge. Had to go through 35,000 words and hand tag EVERYTHING, including line breaks. It took me literally HOURS. Ever since then, whenever I have the option, I go for rich text.

I like AO3, I like some of their options like kudos, and gifting, and the fact that you can do almost anything without an account. And well, I don't do a lot of commenting so it doesn't bug me much xD

I have now developed a technique! It involves a lot of combining of rich text and HTML formatting, some done by hand, and some fine tuning, but it's better than hand tagging everything, so I'm not complaining. And I have AO3 to thank for it again xD Seems like LJ just really hates me mixing with rich text formatting. May even be allergic to it xD
