random thoughts
3 weeks and i have my life back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I only have 3 weeks left in student teaching. As much as I don't like them for making me wake up long before the sun and making me do more before 11 AM than most of my peers do all day, I'm gonna miss them. They're so cute and sweet and Mrs. Newton rocks my world.
Dad closed on our house in Florence on Wednesday. I'm tired of commenting, so I'll just leave it at that. I did tell Daddy that I don't care how totally impratical it is, I will be married in Florence. That's really the only thing I won't budge on. Not that it's an immediate concern by any means, but still.
Speaking of florence, UNA is in the final round of play-offs. they Get to paly at home next saturday and if they win, they'll be playing, coincedentally, at home for the national championship. If USC wins their third, it'll be nothing on UNA, the REAL first team to won 3 in a row and legitmately win 3 in a row...playoff style. Ranked #1 in the entirety of all 3 seasons. Yes. UNA is far superior to USC. But that's about 4 soapboxes. As much as I hate Texas, I have to root for them in the Rose Bowl.
From the 19th: War Eagle :) 11 sacks. I like the group some of my friends at Auburn are in on facebook: Got 12?...no but we have 11...sacks on Brodie. For those who don't know football, Bama likes to brag about their 12 national titles. but my mom like to ask what have they done lately? I just leave that one alone. Invites to.o much trouble about Auburn.

I love Christmas. I mean really. is there a greater holiday out there? Everyone's lights are popping up and decorations are some of the first boxes my parents are unpacking and it just makes me happy.
My parents have the cutest kittens ever. I've taken a real liking to Charlie. He's been my shadow over break. He even helped me with one of Adam's christmas presents. And by helped I mean got right in the middle of everything and generally brought the project to a standstill.
