Where the skies are so blue!!! Except today when it rained all day. All i have to say is at least i'm not in lexington or surrounding areas where they got a ton of snow dumped on them. Matt almost convinced me colorado is a great state to live in til i reminded him i don't do snow. You yankees have NO IDEA how to handle snow. you don't DRIVE! There's no where to go anyway since everything's closed because of the snow. Sure, get out there and make a snowman or have a snowball fight with your neighbors (it's usually the only time of year you see them). But for heaven's sake, don't put your life and the other lives of the yahoos crazy enough to risk their lives in jeopardy!
I went to Mrs. Swinea's house for the trivial pursuit tournament (until i had to leave to go to the basketball games) but i was talking with ashley johnson (Who is a now famous writer by the way) and she lives in one of the crazy yankee states too and she says the south is really the only region who takes pride in where they live (i.e. the existence of Southern Living magazine). I take great pride in being from the south. i will remain in the south (and right now, i'm not so much countin kentucky as southern).
I have passed my days doing absolutely NOTHING and LOVING every minute of it! yesterday, the most productive thing i did all day was make myself a bowl of cereal when i rolled out of bed at noon. i have needed a break like this in the worst way. I was mildly productive today though. I got dressed enough and went to blockbuster to rent a few movies and started working on the second t-shirt quilt (but it's not turning out very good). I even altered a couple of skirts all by myself! I'm getting so domestic!
But that's all. yay for lazy days. yay for the south. yay for seeing a bunch of high school people at the ball games. and yay for the much food i've consumed since being home!!!
