WOW

I have just lived the craziest week of my life. I guess I'm a true college student now though. My job ended on the 30th of July and since my options were sit around the house in Florence, or the apartment in memphis, i decided to drive out to Colorado and see matt. It was not at all like I expected, for good and for bad. We swam in the Fort Collins resivor (sp?) at Horse Tooth, went to a concert at the Mish, and went REAL LIVE camping!!!! That was the highlight I think. His roommates took me cliff jumping on the poudre river and around Old Town. And my last night, me, matt, and one of his roommates derrick, went to Winter Park to see matt's family. I've missed all them! All week was one adventure after another. One of the cars wouldn't start in the morning after camping, we got lost going to winter park and I accidentally saw the Contennintal divide, then derrick's car wouldn't start sunday morning (luckily matt's family was leaving as well and it worked out for me to leave late, but on the same day).
I learned that Kansas is 425 miles across. That means there are at least 850 reasons to hate it. There's a lot more once you start thinking. I mean, there's a frikkin TOLL on the INTERSTATE! isn't that illegal or something? It ought to be if it's not. I also learned that matt will generally win in a wrestling match, unless he's just gotten home from work. I also learned things that have taken away pretty much any shred of innocence I had left. But now I know. And now i've got some crazy stories.
Oh, and if anyone was wondering, go to Red Feather and see the most breathtaking sunrise ever (like i've seen very many, but gorgeous none the less).
The concert at the Mish was rockin and Ted will always be Too Small in my eyes :) And coconut rum and Wild Cherry pepsi or strawberry kiwi juiceis really good. Oh and the voodoo lounge in Winter Park, CO does NOT have sweet tea. So don't ask.
