damn the cable!!!
okay, so we all have cable, right? you have to have it nowadays just to watch television. that's the first way they get you. and when i say they, i am referring to the MAN. in this case, its the cable companies MAN. so we had your basic cable thing going on with hbo and showtime, now all a sudden, you gotta get a box and have digital cable if you want any movie channels. so the cable sends us two boxes and we hooked them up. first, the one in the bedroom fucked up, so the guy comes over to look at it, and it turns out the box is bad. it actually said on the bottom of the box, "box bad, doesnt work". so i guess it was a miracle that it ever worked at all!! but it also proves my theory that everyones else in the world is a moron. i mean, if the box says right on it, that it doesnt work, why would they ship it anyways? because they are a bunch of DUMBASSES. so we get a new box for the bedroom. then, the one in the living room stops working all together. no channels at all. so we call and get the guy to come out and take a look. he fixes it, and leaves. not ten minutes later, it fucks up again. and of course by this time, no one is answering any phones!!! so we gotta wait and call later. now they are telling us that they can mail us another box. meanwhile, we have no movie channels in the livingroom. and my husband, who has been kind enough to deal with all the crap, is going to have a freakin coronary because of the cable company! and to make matters even worse, the company we use is the only cable service available to us in the area. which is like totally against the law!!! they cant monopolize the whole market for one area!!! we have to have choices!!! so i just want to say, fuck you to the cable peeps!!! you are a bunch a moronic assholes who couldnt find their balls with a flashlight and a magnifying glass!!!
