Supernatural 4x15 "Death takes a Holiday"

Mar 13, 2009 12:21

I swear the longest five minutes every week is when I have to sit through the end of Smallville. I mean will Clark Kent ever get a new a new jacket? He’s been wearing the same one for 8 seasons now.

Anyway, so I recently got my roommate’s sister hooked on Supernatural. I didn’t even actually do anything. I pretty much said Supernatural and she said, that sounds like a show I’d like. So I put in the DVD’s and she’s been watching them for like three days straight now. She’s already on disk 3 of Season 2. I love getting new fans hooked on the show; I also love it when I know a scare is coming to see their reaction.

So anyway, I’m glad the show is back. I’m glad to see the laptop and Papa Winchester’s journal back again. Lol, bloggers.

I hate it when the boys fight. I’m not happy that Dean is still holding on to what Sam said in the Siren episode and I hate it that he’s not trusting Sammy right now (even though Sam hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with him).

So I had like four reactions to Sammy’s meeting with Alistair.
- Go Sammy! So that son of a bitch whose boss.
- Shit Sammy I’m worried that you’re traveling down a dark path.
- Sammy you are starting to scare me just a little bit.
- Great, as if the wedge between you and your brother needs to get bigger.

I love how this episode keeps the sadness while making you laugh. It’s definitely one of the reasons I love this show. The entire “Am I making you uncomfortable” interaction was gold. The boys are adorable when they get all excited about things. Love them.

Astroprojection, always fun for the laughs. Oh but Dean. “Lets go to Victoria Secret and get our peep on.” I’d be annoyed and upset at you Dean if I didn’t love you so much. You’re objectification of women would be disgusting… if I wasn’t so busy objectifying you right back.

Kid doesn’t know Mr. Miyagi. Pft. What are kids learning these days? Don’t even know the classics.

This really was kind of a backwards episode. There was no happy ending. Returning things back to normal meant people were going to have to start dying again. Pam, who I’ve always liked, died bitter and angry and hating my boys. Tessa on the other hand, again who I’ve also always liked, took Dean’s last bit of hope. Her speech about no more miracles, there is no better place, no great plans for Dean. Then on top of that downer of an episode Kim Manner’s memorial dedication, talk about trying to put the entire audience into depression.

Way to leave us feeling like crap guys, Thanks.
