Reasons / half-reasons, half-excuses why I have been a micro step to lurkdom:
1. Motherboard of "new 2.4Ghz powered PC" decided to DIE.
Bios Checksum Error. Temporary motherboard plus processor replacement = 1.8Ghz Turtle Slow. 2.4Ghz Motherboard model has been phased out. Found replacement yesterday (omg/wtf serendipity) while asking around for CPU prices. ^_^"
Motherboard Death Result: SLOW (like 15 mins) XP start-up time; Frequent crashing/freezing of Xp (and it kept getting worse); psychosis-inducing PHOTOSHOP speed Grrrr
Will install replacement this Saturday. Whee~~~
