Extreme Rage

Before I journal about the activities and special moments of yesterday's trip to Asheville, I have to rant. What I have to say my offend some people, especially some women, so I'll put a cut here to spare folks who care not to go any further.

Also, to rape victims, this may be triggery, so please go no further.....unless you are a Right Wing idiot who is anti-choice.


I've been reading about how a woman's choice and power over her own body is being stripped away by evil and ignorant individuals seemingly by the hour. And I've been reading other people's reaction to this travesty....and I've noticed that every rant regarding this champions the right of all women to maintain sovereignty over their persons.

.....And I disagree.

I know of numerous women in this area who voted for the current Right Wing regime in the specific hope of overturning Roe v. Wade. These women deserve no rights. As I wrote a few months ago, I believe it's time for Liberals to get truly angry, furious, filled with rage, and stop playing nice with these fuckerheads who want to turn the clock back to the Dark Ages.

This is how I feel about the individuals who are supposedly "pro-life."

• If you are a woman of child-bearing age and you voted for any politician who is in the back pocket of the Dominionist terrorists successfully taking over this country, it is my sincere wish that you are raped and impregnated shortly after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Let your body be a vessel for the sins perpetrated upon you and let you forever be reminded of your violation when you lay eyes upon the unwanted child beget by violence.
• If you are a woman no longer of child-bearing age and you voted for any politician who is in the back pocket of the Dominionist terrorists successfully taking over this country, it is my sincere wish that your daughters, should you have any, enjoy the same fate as the aforementioned women of child-bearing age who were stupid enough to vote their rights away. May you have grandchildren whose father violated your child. When you look into their eyes, may you feel the shame of helping to take away your daughter's right to avoid being turned into a piece of meat for a man's pleasure and expression of misogyny. May your own misogyny haunt you when these strangers who are your grandchildren call you "Grandma."
• If you are a man who helped to take away a woman's right of choice regarding her own body, may you enjoy the sublime wonder of watching your wife give birth to a child not of your making, but of the making of the man who broke into your home and forced himself upon her. Enjoy helping her during her horrifying labour. May your daughters give you grandchildren borne of the violence of rape or may they bestow upon you the special gift of a child resulting from their dalliance with your sons, their own brothers. May these special children have unique birth defects because they're products of incest. May you agonise over how to provide for them and provide the medical care they'll need.

Any of you who had a hand in erasing women's ownership of their bodies: may the god you profess to be on your side in this issue turn a deaf ear to your pleas as what you've done backfires on you and your families. You deserve the fruit of your labours over the years. May that fruit be sweet with sorrow, regret, grief, and hopelessness. I will have no pity for you. You deserve no rights and that is exactly what you shall receive in abundance. Enjoy your apparent victory. I will enjoy watching that victory turn into personal defeat.
