Not in any way related to the first, but this pairing is actually a lot of fun. :)
Body Language
The wolf tells him things.
Not like a split personality. Not in words. But it lets him know things almost instinctively that he was never aware of before.
It tells him when someone is about to attack, and when their aggression is just grandstanding.
It tells him things people won’t say. The wolf knew Stacey was leaving before she knew herself.
It tells him that Lori's gold studs are really just plated silver. And Merton’s “silver” buttons? Aren’t.
When Merton cocks his head to the side, baring his neck... the wolf tells him it means something.
Tommy wants to listen.
