Hello from DuPont, where I am using Raihan's laptop (no Wifi, only LAN) to type this. At the moment it's lunch-hour for most people I suppose, though I had lunch earlier with nice people who were kind enough to not go to sushi cos of me ($$). And well as a receptionist during CNY period (I was clever enough to forget that it was still CNY-ish on Wed/ Thurs so I will be receptionist-ing then too) I get rather few things to deal with. Basically answering phone calls (tempted to answer with "Bonjour, je suis Monsieur DuPont" every time), transferring said phone calls, acknowledging deliveries, passing out visitor passes (and forgetting to take a temp pass for myself), etc. I've always wondered what receptionists feel like, and this is a rather nice place with yellow lighting and atas things because DuPont is huge, so yay! I need a proper job soon though, haha.
The phrase that repeats most in my mind is "I'm tired, tired of being enclosed here" (Catherine Linton at that time, Wuthering Heights). And I'm not referring to this job haha I'm referring to life in general. I suppose I'm not tired of being "enclosed" per se; it's more of tired of waiting in general. And I like wearing scarves, looking at nice clothes, people who dress well and can pull off what they're wearing well, Simon Baker, hot guys with curly golden hair, Mika, etc. Also there's a coffee machine here. And a tiny TV with one cable channel that has nothing exciting/ interesting on I mean not even AXN/ HBO??
I don't like rain and rly love French haha schizophrenic posts/ thoughts/ letters lately. Also Mika's Origin of Love album is amazing esp cos I love Mika haha ok bye. ~
